Cleaning Codes Legend


IMPORTANT: Improperly cleaning your sofa may permanently damage your fabric or leather and void your warranty. Always spot test in an inconspicious area before proceeding. If you've purchased a protection plan please reach out to our chat team before attempting to remove a stain.



These fabrics are generally easy to clean and require water-based cleaning agents or foams. Make sure not to over-saturate the fabric.



For this type of material, you can use either dry-cleaning solvents or water-based detergents. It's important to spot-test an area first, before cleaning the entire couch.


S (SOLVENT – Dry Clean Only):

These fabrics must be dry-cleaned only. Do not attempt to clean these with water or solvent as this could lead to irreversible damage.



This type of fabric requires only brushing or vacuuming. Do not use any liquids or solvents on the material as it could lead to permanent staining.


Amigo II

Amigo II - W

Amigo II is made from 100% polyester with a smooth, velvety texture. Use a water-based cleaning agent or foam and be careful not to oversaturate this fabric.


Bella - W

Bella has a soft, rich velvety texture. While durable and ideal for high-traffic households, may sure while cleaning you are gentle with this fabric.


Bennett - W

Bennett has the appearance of linen but is made from 100% polyester. It's durable, but we still advise you to be gentle with your water-based cleaning agent.


Camila - S

Camila is 95% polyester, and 5% linen. It's important to NOT use water and to clean with a water-free dry-cleaning solvent.


Cordova - SW

This heavily textured fabric is woven with a blend of polyester and acrylic. This makes Cordova easy to clean, but while it is stain-resistant, this does not mean stain-proof. Dry-cleaning solvents or water-based detergents will work fine.


Curious - S

Curious is 92% polyester, and 8% linen. It should be spot cleaned only with a water-free cleaning solvent. Make sure to pretest a small, inconspicuous area before proceeding.


Elliot - SW

Elliot is a woven chenille fabric made of 100% polyester and possesses excellent cleanability characteristics. It would be best to spot clean with upholstery shampoo, foam from a mild detergent, or mild cleaning solvent.


Merit - SW

Merit is 100% polyester and is able to be spot cleaned with upholstery shampoo, foam from a mild detergent, or a mild cleaning solvent. When cleaning a spill, blot immediately and clean stains from the outside to the middle of the affected area.


Peyton - W

Peyton is a LiveSmart performance fabric that is moisture-repellent and stain resistant. If an unusual circumstance occurs and you need to clean your Peyton fabric, use a water-based cleaning agent or foam. Make sure to blot the stain and use a damp cloth to wipe up the mixture.


Sugarshack - W

Sugarshack is a Revolution performance fabric that is stain resistant. It's easy to clean, so stick to your water-based cleaning agent, and you'll be good!


Superb - SW

Superb is a performance fabric with a close-knit for a silk smooth touch. As a performance fabric, its durability, and cleanability is very, but if a stain or spill does occur, Superb is able to be spot cleaned with upholstery shampoo, foam from a mild detergent, or a mild cleaning solvent.


Tavis - W

Tavis is a chenille fabric with a rich, textural and multi-dimensional look. Use a water-based cleaning agent or foam and be careful not to oversaturate this fabric.


Villa - SW

Villa is 100% polyester with a luxuriously soft flat woven texture and subtle heathering. This fabric is able to be cleaned with upholstery shampoo, foam from a mild detergent, or a mild cleaning solvent.


Leather requires special care, and the type of cleaning agent you use can make a huge difference in how it looks. The good news is that leather (especially performance leather) doesn't have to be cleaned nearly as often as your fabric couch. A good cadence is to clean and condition your leather whenever you change your smoke detector batteries.

Cheyenne leather is aniline dyed and receives a protective wax topcoat for durability and softness. Cheyenne leathers are highly stain-resistant Purely Protected® leathers and can safely be cleaned using a wider range of products.



Ever-last leather says it in the name, it's a performance leather. This means it is a natural-looking leather that includes protection against fading, scratching, and sun damage. As a Purely Protected® leather, it resists stains and beads liquids.



Hudson leather is an aniline plus leather with a protective finish. Light dirt or scuffs can be cleaned with a soft dry brush or towel. A natural leather cleaner can be used on heavier spills or stains if they occur. 



Tribeca is a semi-aniline leather, with a tight grain and a smooth breathable finish. The finish on Tribeca leathers has been applied for excellent color consistency, so it is very durable. A soft dry brush or towel can remove light dirt or scuffs, just be mindful of the pebbled texture. A natural leather cleaner will work for Tribeca leathers as well.
