Returns & Cancellation Policy

Items purchased "Special Order" may not be returned. All upholstery items made by Couch Potatoes are Special Orders as we don't keep stock and make them to order.  Items marked "Clearance," "As-ls" or "Final Sale" may also not be returned. No exceptions. Regular stocked items have to be approved before a return can be initiated.  Couch Potatoes will assess a minimum of 25% fee for customers who cancel "Special Order" before delivery.

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.  Returned items will also incur a 25% restocking fee. Out of state return shipping costs are the actual  shipping costs charged to Couch Potatoes from the carrier. In state return shipping cost $199.99.

The Furniture Care Plan is contract between the consumer purchasing furniture from Couch Potatoes.  This contract is non-returnable and non-transferable to other furniture or another consumer.  

Delivery fees are non-refundable as they are a service with our 3rd party delivery company.  

Customer Responsibility


It is the customers responsibility to make sure that the size of the ordered furniture is to their needs.  Austin's Couch Potatoes will not be held responsible for any order that does not fit through any doors or staircases.  Although we try to show the best images for our products, sometimes colors are slightly different than shown, Austin's Couch Potatoes cannot be responsible for any color or shade difference than shown on line. The customer is more than welcome to visit our showroom for viewing of the furniture before ordering.

Pick Up

Austin's Couch Potatoes will contact you after you place your order to schedule your pick up at our warehouse.

Damages Policy

Although rare, unfortunately damages during the shipping and manufacturing processes occasionally occur.  In order to address any issues promptly please take that time to inspect the merchandise you have ordered upon receipt. In some cases there is a chance of delay by a manufacturer, we will do our best to exchange damages as fast as we can.  In the rare occurrence that an item arrives damaged before your possession, please notify the delivery team or our customer service department.  Arrangements will be made for qualified repair technicians to correct the damage. Please note: repairing or replacing of furniture is at the sole discretion of the manufacturer.

Refunds

Refunds for returned/cancelled items will occur after we have received and inspected the item. Refunds will be credited back to your original payment method less shipping fees as mentioned above, less a 25% restocking fee. Items that are returned worn or damaged will be assessed a higher restocking fee.  Protection plans can not be returned or canceled as they are a contract with an outside insurance company.
